On Friday 1st June at 10:00am talented Reydon youngster Guy Barber will unveil his prize-winning design for signs on the new Jubilee Green. Guy’s design, featuring a crown and children playing on the green, will grace two signs on the green. Jubilee Green was named for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012 but it took five more years before Reydon Parish Council took possession of the space. Jubilee Green is designed to be an open space for all the village to enjoy and Reydon Community Gardeners have been working hard to make new raised beds with herbs for anyone to use as well as involving the local primary school in planting up recycled tractor tyres. Reydon Parish Council invite people to come and see the new signage unveiled by Guy. |
